Total spent or pledged on donations and service activities in 2016 was circa £21,500.

MAJOR SERVICE ACTIVITIES


  • Message in a Bottle scheme in all pharmacies, libraries and doctors surgeries.
  • Approx 722 used spectacles collected for refurbishment and use in developing world, plus 6 hearing aids.
  • Participation in ‘It’s a Knockout’, for people with learning difficulties, along with other Zone Clubs.
  • Queen Elizabeth II 90th birthday celebration tea parties for senior citizens (42) and children (90).
  • Christmas lunches provided for 73 Senior Citizens.
